Princess Yachts, one of the world’s leading boat builders, is celebrating its 50th birthday in 2015. The manufacturer is set to debut two new M Class superyachts, the 30M and 35M, to celebrate.
The 30M is a new addition to the M Class superyachts and offers up to five en-suite double cabins as well as a main-deck master suite. With speeds up to 40 knots, the vessel is equipped with high-standard mechanisms including two 40kw generators, a comprehensive control and monitoring system and a full hydraulic system.
On the other hand, the 35M is a vast flybridge with a Gross Tonnage in the region 245, which means it contains enough space for a four-or-five-suite layout as well as a full beam owner’s stateroom on the main deck. Its expansive deck offers abundant possibilities for outdoor living.
Princess Yachts was founded in 1965 in Plymouth by British entrepreneur David King, who headed the company until last August. Originally called Marine Projects, the company has established itself as the forerunner in motor yacht manufacturing. Its star yachts in the past included 286 Riviera, a high-speed sports cruiser, and Princess 65.
In January at the 2015 Motor Boat Award held in London, both the Princess V48 Open and the Princess S72 received industry recognition. The former was praised the best sports cruiser over 45ft and the latter the best motor boat for the over 55ft category.
